PROVIDING FOSTER CHILDREN CHRISTMAS GIFTS THROUGH EMBERHOPE

It’s the season for giving….

…. and this year we are partnering with EmberHope Youthville to provide presents to kids in Foster Care. EmberHope offers an opportunity for the community to help provide Christmas gifts to children in foster homes. EmberHope is a special organization to our church as we have several foster care families in our church licensed through them. We hope you are able to help in giving to these precious children this Christmas season!

This year we have agreed to adopt 35 foster children from Ember Hope to purchase gifts for this Christmas.  Please help us make Christmas a little brighter for these kids!

1. Take a card from the angel tree in the foyer. Each card has a child’s name, age, and size.  The card has gift ideas. 

2. Purchase a pair of pajamas and at least one gift.  Please spend a minimum of $50 on each child This $50 should include a pair of pajamas and then a choice of one or more gifts from the list on the card. If your card has an older child (teen) sweats are fine for the PJ‘s. ** IF you would like, you can join in with someone else to purchase the gifts from the ornament.

3. Your gifts should be returned to the table in the foyer, each wrapped and tagged with the card you took from the tree.  Please place your wrapped gifts in a provided laundry bag that is tagged with your corresponding gift tag and is located in the foyer of the church.  Ideally, everything for one child would be wrapped in the same paper for ease of identification.  

4. Gifts should be returned to the foyer table on or before December 1.
